Colabo Innovations was created in 2006 by Daniel Pape, longboarding skate enthusiast and entrepreneur, who is one of the front runners in the development and evolution of the sport. His vision began with a decision to put the heart of the sport above the sport politics. He set out to create an organization which ensured a solid foundation for the best riders in the sport; his aim was to create a dynamic team that wasn't confined to any one specific sponsor. The team now consists of 6 hand-selected riders which Mr.Pape had tracked over a period of time before inviting them onto the team. The result is, a team with seven of the most dedicated and accomplished riders who benefit from the team dynamics and challenge each other to achieve new levels of riding.
