Last Month Colabo made a special trip up to Vancouver Island to scope out the location of the worlds fastest race course, The Mount Washington Downhill Skateboard Race. Wes Sampson, not your typical race organizer is an experienced professional underwater diver just off the coast of Courtenay BC.  When we arrived Sampson was as hospitable as they come.  He stocked us up on delicious seafood including oysters, gooey duck and scallops.  The location check, sadly resulted in stormy weather conditions, but left us with a respect for one of the fastest race hills in North America, and perhaps even the world.  Enjoy this inside look into some of the things that make Wes tick.  Watch out for Wes at the Top of your local hill, he's a very fast skateboarder as well as a dedicated Race Organizer.
