Colabo Innovations Longboarding Lid Technologies Helmet RacingThe vision began when Daniel Pape, founder of Colabo, made a decision to put the heart of the sport above sport politics. He set out to create a dynamic team that wasn’t confined to any one specific sponsor. The team now consists of 4 hand-selected riders with an acute level of skill paired with a humble attitude. What resulted from this communion is a group o five of the most dedicated and accomplished riders who ride it like its hot and thrive on each others skill and mentorship. Together they challenge each other to achieve new levels of riding.

The Colabo team has since pushing the boundaries, riding on the edge of what is possible and have received enthusiasm and praise from other professionals within the community.

To date Colabo Riders have competed in, and attained unprecedented results in more than three-dozen races. In 2007, the team received 12 podium standings in races throughout Canada and the United States and first place in The Brazil Teutonia World Speed Challenge. Two first place titles are currently held by Colabo riders, Brianne Davis, and Kevin Reimer for the 2008 Attack of Danger Bay.

The current unofficial world record for downhill speedboarding is clocked at a mind blowing 124km/h and is owned by Colabo rider Kevin Reimer, dubbed K-rimes. He plans to break his own record in 2008, and attain a speed of 140km/h in the Colorado Downhill Challenge, making a presence in the Guinness World Book of Records. More rider stats can be found in the rider profile section.
