Krimes, McGoldrick, Edstrand and Erban battle it out for a chance to be in the  final  for the World Championships.  Often in downhill skateboarding you can push yourself to the absolute limits, yet still, there's no way of locking down a guarantee that you will be in the finals.  The competition was so fierce in 2008 that if made even one mistake it could could mean the difference between a 3rd and  a 4th.  3rd, your stepping up to a even more challending race.  And 4th, well, you're watching. Every season we start we have to wonder, "who will be the top rider this year?".
